ndrea Lee is an aspiring LPGA Tour Star, highlighted by her winning her first tournament at the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee is an emerging star at the top of the LPGA tour which was highlighted by her win at the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee also has won 9 times during her collegiate years during her time at Standford University and was ranked top in the world for 17 weeks. In 2019, she won the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the top-ranked Women's Amateur in the final week of the season, and became a professional in the following year. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native who was born in the month of August in 1998. James taught her the art of golf from the time she was just 5 years old. She started playing tournaments in the age of eight and has also won over 50 junior championships in four years. Lee, who graduated in 2018, left Stanford University for the professional world. Her amateur seasons comprised 17 weeks consecutively in the top of in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was awarded an award called the Mark H. McCormack award for the 2019 season after having been the top amateur. Lee was a top amateur with four albatrosses, and four holes in one. Lee had two top-10 finishes during her first season on the LPGA Tour. She placed 7th during the 2022 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's first LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 in the Portland Classic. This victory was dedicated to her late grandpa Min. He called me champions, and believed in my abilities. This win is dedicated to her late grandfather Min, who she said always called me an athlete and believed in me. Lee was previously a soccer player taekwondo and figure skating. Lee is a variety of other interests, such as shopping, movies and even singing.
